By purchasing digital products, programs, coaching services, memberships, or other offerings from Beyond Betrayal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

  1. Nature of Services

Beyond Betrayal provides faith-informed, trauma-informed coaching, educational resources, support groups, and digital products designed to support women healing from sexual betrayal.

Coaching is intended to facilitate personal growth, education, and goal setting. Coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling, mental health treatment, legal advice, financial advice, or medical care.

  1. No Guarantee of Results

Every individual's healing journey is unique. While Beyond Betrayal is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-informed, and biblically grounded support, no specific results or outcomes can be guaranteed.

Your progress depends on many factors, including your own participation, personal circumstances, and willingness to engage in the coaching process.

  1. Personal Responsibility

By purchasing services or products, you acknowledge that you remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, health, relationships, and overall well-being. You agree to seek appropriate medical, psychological, legal, or emergency assistance whenever necessary.

  1. Coaching Eligibility

Services are intended for adults aged 18 years or older. 

Beyond Betrayal reserves the right to decline or discontinue coaching if it is determined that another form of care would better meet a client's needs.

  1. Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

  1. Refund Policy

Because coaching appointments reserve dedicated time and digital resources become immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales are final unless otherwise stated.

If a coaching package includes scheduled sessions, cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited.

Should Beyond Betrayal need to cancel a scheduled session, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule.

  1. Digital Products

All digital downloads, workbooks, journals, courses, videos, and other digital materials are for the purchaser's personal use only.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, shared, or modified without written permission.

  1. Group Coaching

Group coaching provides education, encouragement, and peer support. While confidentiality is expected of all participants, Beyond Betrayal cannot guarantee that every participant will maintain confidentiality outside the group.

Participants agree to respect the privacy and dignity of other members.

Disruptive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the program without refund.

  1. Confidentiality

Information shared during individual coaching sessions will be treated confidentially except where disclosure is required by law or where there is an immediate risk of serious harm to yourself or another person.

Electronic communication cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  1. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Beyond Betrayal—including written content, coaching materials, worksheets, videos, graphics, logos, and course content—remain the intellectual property of Beyond Betrayal and Erica Lazarakos unless otherwise indicated.

No material may be reproduced or redistributed without written permission.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Beyond Betrayal and Erica Lazarakos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of coaching services, memberships, digital products, or educational materials.

Your purchase and participation are undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

  1. Changes to These Terms

Beyond Betrayal reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase shall govern that transaction.
